Print Estimating - Lamination
Lamination has many factors involving print estimating, including cost of lamination roll, cost of changing the roll, roll length, the length of each printed items, and the run.
Step 1
Determine the length of printing:
Printing length = length of finished product x run x (1 + (wastage factor / 100))

Step 2
Find the no. of rolls:
No of Rolls = Printing Length / Roll Length
Step 3
Find the no. of roll changes:
Roll Changes = round down(Printing Length / Roll Length)
Step 4
Calculate the total:
Lamination Cost = Lamination Setup Cost + (No. of Rolls x Cost Per Roll) x 2) + (Roll Changes x Cost for Changing Rolls)
