Pre-press comprises of adding up the hours for computer time, proof reading, imposition & miscellaneous. This is the multiplied by the hourly charge out cost.

Pre-Press Cost = (Computer Time + Proof Reading + Imposition + Miscellaneous) x Hourly Rate

The computer time, proof reading, imposition & miscellaneous are all specified in hours, and is irrespective for the no. of originals.
